Technology Focused on Improved Safety and Connectivity

We live in a technology-driven world—which offers both pros and cons. Regarding the vehicle you choose to drive day in and day out, it’s more of the former and less of the latter. First things first, however, when looking at the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500, you will find eight trims to choose from. The lower four—the Pro, SLE, Elevation, and SLT—provide you with a wide range of safety and connectivity features, including an available 13.4-inch Premium GMC Infotainment System with available Google built-in compatibility. Essentially, you can sync a compatible phone with the system to access your favorite playlist, turn-by-turn directions, and more. In addition, you can use voice recognition to safely get in touch with contacts as you travel from point A to point B. You will also find a 12.3-inch diagonal color Driver Information Center on all but the Pro trim. This hub provides you with vital diagnostics information.

These four trims also offer enhanced driving thanks to available technology features, such as your ability to access up to 13 camera views. Whether you’re navigating tight parking lots, maneuvering through narrow trails, or simply need a better line of sight when in reverse, these camera views come in handy. You can also improve your towing experience by opting for the available Prograde Trailering System. This system streamlines the process from beginning to end, starting with the ability to create five custom trailer profiles. There are also pre-departure checklists, maintenance reminders, a tire pressure monitoring system, and more.

The remaining four trims include two off-road-ready trucks and two that lean into the sophisticated luxury that has become synonymous with the GMC brand. The first two, the AT4 and AT4X, offer the same 13.4-inch Premium GMC Infotainment System with Google built-in and a 12.3-inch multicolor Driver Information Center as the above trims. However, things change a bit when looking at the other standard and available technology features. For instance, an additional camera view is available courtesy of a Rearview Camera Mirror. Additionally, the AT4X comes standard with a 15-inch head-up display. This display is available for the AT4 as well. HD Surround Vision is another perk of the AT4 and AT4X, allowing improved sightlines for whatever scenario you find yourself and your truck in.

For the last two trims, the Denali and Denali Ultimate, you will find over 40 combined inches of diagonal driver-focused digital display screens, which is the most in its class. Additionally, the Denali Ultimate is considered the most advanced and luxurious Sierra ever. This is thanks, in part, to the standard hands-free driving system, Super Cruise. This system allows you to enjoy the drive more, arriving at your destination refreshed and ready to go. It is compatible on roads throughout North America, with more and more added all the time. Even more impressive is that Super Cruise can be used while towing. If you choose the Denali trim, our team can review what package is needed to add Super Cruise, ensuring you get exactly what you need—and want.

GMC Pro Safety, a collection of driver assistance safety features, is included on all eight Sierra 1500 trims. Some of the standard and available amenities you will find onboard are Front and Rear Park Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, just to name a few.

Opulent Style Inside and Out

GMC sets itself apart in many ways, but one of the most highlighted is the fact that the brand’s trucks offer sophisticated styling throughout. Of course, this is seen in full display in the top-tier Denali and Denali Ultimate trims. As mentioned, the 2025 Denali Ultimate is considered the most luxurious Sierra 1500 to date. Inside this trim, you will find full leather seating surfaces, authentic open-pore Paldao wood, and 16-way power heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats with a massage feature. There is also a topographical map pattern of Mt. Denali’s summit embossed and laser-etched across the interior, along with specialized badging throughout.

Not to be outdone, the Denali also swings for the fences when it comes to styling, offering perforated forge leather seating surfaces, patterned aluminum trim, chrome accents, an embroidered Denali logo on the front seats, 12-way power driver and front-passenger seats—including two-way lumbar control—and authentic open-pore wood detailing.

Regarding the rest of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 lineup, you will find available 10-way power-adjustable front heated and ventilated bucket seats on the SLT trim and an available up-level rear storage package—which is standard on the SLT—when choosing the Elevation. Additionally, throughout the entire lineup, you will find nods to luxury, specialized styling, and attention to detail that have continued to make the Sierra 1500 a popular option for those choosing a truck as their everyday vehicle. Finally, it’s also worth noting that the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 offers best-in-class Crew Cab front head and legroom, which ensures better comfortability during the drive, whether you’re headed a few blocks away or further.

Rugged Durability and Performance

Even while more and more drivers are choosing a truck as their everyday vehicle, durability and functionality are still key. The 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 excels in this category, offering an available six-function MultiPro Tailgate that makes hauling goods from one place to another a breeze. In addition, the truck has a maximum towing capacity of up to 13,200 lbs when appropriately equipped.

Speaking of towing capabilities, you will find a wide variety of engine options to choose from, with the Duramax 3.0L Turbo Diesel offering the towing capacity mentioned above. Other options include the 6.2L V8, giving you access to 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque and the 5.3L, which provides you with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Each of these allows you to tow up to 13,000 lbs. and 11,200 lbs. Other features adding to the durability of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 include its high-steel-strength bed.

If you choose the AT4 or the AT4X, there are additional amenities that lean into durability and functionality, including front and rear electronic locking differentials—which are an exclusive AT4X feature and not offered on any competitor in its class—multimatic DSSV dampers, also on the AT4X, and a two-inch factory-installed suspension lift. Both trucks also come equipped with Hill Descent Control, providing you with a smooth, controlled descent when tackling steep declines and specialized suspension systems that are engineered to tackle whatever you put in their way.
